Our Support of Community Projects and a Call to Action

AYA Official

The Association for Young Astrologers (AYA) is pleased to announce our support for Stormie Grace YouTube Astrology Academy and Mercury’s Brood: Astrology Anthology in the amount of $1000 each! As an astrology organization, it is our responsibility and our pleasure to support projects that will benefit our community at large and help to elevate the field,

Stormie Grace’s YouTube Astrology Academy exemplifies AYA’s value of making astrological education accessible to the public. This project seeks to bring a year of free astrology classes taught by renowned astrologers. Funding this project ensures that these courses will be free and accessible to all, while making sure that instructors and teaching assistants get paid for their time and expertise.

Mercury’s Brood: Astrology Anthology embodies AYA’s aim to uplift and amplify diverse voices in the astrological community.  Headed by Djenneba Drammeh, this black and queer-led project will showcase astrology-related creative writing, visual art, social critiques, and analytical writing. Funding this project will center marginalized voices and showcase the thoughts and experiences of QTBIPOC astrologers.

These are the first of many contributions that AYA hopes to make moving forward. Community support is about more than just a share or a retweet. There’s an obligation to financially back the community-led projects and initiatives that reflect the changing demographics of this field.

We are challenging our fellow astrology organizations, as well as the following educational institutions to accept this responsibility and match our pledge of $1000 and get these groundbreaking projects funded.

  • Association for Astrological Networking AFAN
  • Astrological Association [of Great Britain]
