On December 13, the Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture will host a half-day web event for those who may be curious about what it is like to attend their MA Programme (in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology).

The event will showcase four presentation that reveal the range of possible tracks of study in the MA—from an ethnographic look at the soul in the horoscope (Dr. Brady); to a close-reading of the Madonna in the zodiac (Dr. Gunzburg); to a discussion of skyscapes, formerly known as archaeoastronomy (Dr. Silva), and, finally, a look at the astrology of Levi ben Gerson (PhD candidate Mitchell).

If you are curious what the Sophia Centre is up to, this event will introduce you to some of their latest work and give you a sense of what it is like to study there. I highly encourage you to check it out!
